【職場智慧】成功創業家具備的六大性格特質 6 Major Personality Traits of Successful Entrepreneurs
The secrets to entrepreneurial success are not just the industry environment, geographic location, or economic atmosphere; personality also plays a pivotal role. It's been discovered that these personality traits have an undeniable influence on the success or failure of startups. To achieve entrepreneurial success, having revolutionary ideas and disruptive innovations alone is not enough.
A study by the Oxford Internet Institute in collaboration with the University of Technology Sydney and the University of Melbourne conducted an in-depth analysis of the founders of 21,000 startups using artificial intelligence. It revealed that the following six major personality traits are key indicators in determining whether an entrepreneur can lead their company to success:
- Fighters: Possess relentless perseverance and determination to overcome difficulties.
- Operators: Detail-oriented, good at managing daily operations to keep the business running smoothly.
- Accomplishers: Tenacious with goals, always striving for excellence.
- Leaders: Natural-born leaders with charismatic and leadership qualities that attract followers.
- Experts/Engineers: Possess deep professional knowledge and technical skills, innovators of products and services.
- Developers: Keen on innovation, constantly seeking new ideas and improvements to drive business development.
The study points out that these entrepreneurs stand out; they enjoy new activities, seek novelty and diversity, and like to be the center of attention. These personality traits are not common; the study estimates that only about 8% of the global population possesses the combination of traits necessary for entrepreneurial success. They may not have embarked on the entrepreneurial journey yet, but they already have the innate qualities to make the road to entrepreneurship smoother.
On the path of entrepreneurship, a team with diverse personalities is an indispensable support. Studies have shown that the combination of different personalities within a team is likely to increase the probability of entrepreneurial success. A diverse entrepreneurial team, combining these varied personalities, will have a greater chance of breaking through the initial difficulties of a startup.
