香港人力資源管理學會委託香港恒生大學於今年6至8月間進行「2023年未來勞動力研究」,訪問了逾900名受訪者,受訪者包括385名僱主、316人員工,另亦有部分大專學生。以下是一些關鍵調查發現:

- 大數據分析和管理 - 34%
- 人工智能和機器學習 - 33%
- 領導能力和管理技能 - 29%
- 創造性解決問題及批判性思維 - 27%
- 跨文化溝通技能 - 25%
首兩名均與科技緊密相關,科技相關的專業能力將變得越來越關鍵,反映了科技專業能力在現代職場中的重要性。
僱員留任的因素:
- 工作與生活平衡 - 49%
- 工作的穩定性 - 43%
- 優厚的報酬 - 28%
僱員留任的關鍵並不只是技能提升。近半數的受訪者認為「工作與生活平衡」是他們續任或選擇工作的主要因素。事實上,這不只是僱員的期望,76%僱主也相信提供良好的工作與生活平衡能吸引和留住人才。
僱主吸引及挽留人才策略:
- 職業發展機會 - 53%
- 員工健康活動 - 51%
- 員工福利如醫療保險 - 48%
- 彈性工作時間 - 44%
面對人才市場的日益競爭。雖然薪酬和福利仍是關鍵,但更多的僱主開始深化員工的福利活動、彈性工作時間和技能培訓,以確保他們的團隊感到滿足和受到重視。
JobsDB香港區總經理李政勳建議,僱主與學界合作,提供更多優質實習機會,幫助年輕人更好地為未來做準備。香港人力資源管理學會會長孔于人強調,為提供更好的工作環境,僱主需深入了解新一代僱員的需求,尤其是工作與生活的平衡。
The Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management commissioned the Hang Seng University of Hong Kong to conduct the "2023 Future Workforce Study" from June to August this year. Over 900 respondents were interviewed, including 385 employers, 316 employees, and some college students. Below are some key findings from the survey:
Most Needed Skills in the Next 5 Years:
- Big data analysis and management - 34%
- Artificial intelligence and machine learning - 33%
- Leadership and management skills - 29%
- Creative problem solving and critical thinking - 27%
- Cross-cultural communication skills - 25%
The top two answers are closely related to technology, and tech-related professional capabilities will become increasingly crucial. This reflects the importance of technological expertise in the modern workplace.
Factors for Employee Retention:
- Work-life balance - 49%
- Job stability - 43%
- Generous compensation - 28%
The key to employee retention is not just about skill enhancement. Nearly half of the respondents believe that "work-life balance" is the main factor in their decision to continue or choose a job. In fact, this is not just an expectation of employees; 76% of employers also believe that providing a good work-life balance can attract and retain talent.
Strategies Employers Use to Attract and Retain Talent:
- Career development opportunities - 53%
- Employee wellness programs - 51%
- Employee benefits such as health insurance - 48%
- Flexible working hours - 44%
In the face of an increasingly competitive talent market, salary and benefits remain key. However, more and more employers are enhancing employee wellness programs, flexible working hours, and skills training to ensure their teams feel satisfied and valued.
Bill Lee, JobsDB Hong Kong’s managing director, suggests that employers collaborate with academia to provide more quality internship opportunities to better prepare young people for the future. Lawrence Fung, President of the Hong Kong Institute of Human Resource Management, emphasises that to provide a better working environment, employers need to deeply understand the needs of the new generation of employees, especially the balance between work and life
